England Women’s Euro Thread 18:05 - Jul 5 with 12149 viewsSwailsey

Would be cool to get a thread going for those interested/watching today and for the rest of the tournament.

What are people’s thoughts? France are definitely weakened without Renard, surprising that.

I really fancy us to get a result tonight and have super high hopes for the tournament.

Honestly holding a player like that in the box in the 117th is a choice for sure. Don't even think it was that soft of a penalty.

Agyemang player of the match. Great equaliser and was superb in ET.

She is a real diamond in the rough. Has the potential to be a super, super striker. Her positioning is already very good, and she put her foot through the ball for the goal, which we were begging for all match.

I read a stat just now:

3 goals in 4 games, in a total of 79 minutes

Such a prospect!

What a goal would have been if that chip was an inch or two lower

Football init. Basic naivety.

Every time I've seen England go forward they either panic and run into trouble or get bored and can't clear the first body.

Anyone noticed how the Spanish were falling over and rolling around at every slight contact in the first 10 minutes? The ref ignores it, and it stops.

Now why can't that be the same in the men's game? Surely the refs need to stop pandering to theatrics.
