She's changed the game

Agyemang deserves to start the final. She has saved our bacon in the QF and the SF. Russo has been largely ineffective this tournament. I don’t think Wiegman will have the balls to do it though.

Both her and Kelly have come on throughout the tournament and made a positive impact. They both must be close to starting?

Tough one, for me. Coming on as as sub when opposition players are tiring might be the better tactic. I'd like to see her get a good 30 minutes, though, instead of the 10-15 she has been getting. She really grew into the match last night.

I think England's passing in the final third was rather poor, and they were putting hopeless balls in to Russo all night. Given the right service, she's still a starter, for me.

I’m sure you’re right. Russo has had a great WSL season. Maybe the pressure of starting a final would be too much for Agyemang anyway. I’m sure she’s just delighted to be involved and getting the opportunity that she is.

Whatever happens it’ll be a great final. Either of Spain or Germany will give us a good game.

The effort against the bar late on was sublime.

Wrighty agrees with you, but I’m with Hugoagogo on this. Think of Sarmiento coming on as a sub for us!

I agree with this. I also think Agyemang looked more exhausted than some who had played 120 minutes, by the end of extra time. Which is not a criticism- she came on and gave absolutely everything. I just am not sure she has 60 minutes of similar intensity in the tank, and is probably more effective against defenders who are running on fumes.

A shame her deft chip didn't drop in- that would have been a goal worthy of winning a Final!

Agree that coming on as the players tire might be the best use of her , but she deserves more time than the manager gives her .

The manager was lucky the players turned thigs round again

I agree with this - bring her on at 60 mins instead of 80
