Broadhead bid on this list?

It's always sad losing good players, particularly those who have scored emotional goals but if that 7M figure is true, it's very good business.

If it also means we are keeping Omari then even better news.

I will miss him if he goes and I'm sure he will be great for Wrexham but we were never going to keep all them in the Championship.

It would have been negligent from the club to allow Broady to go for free next year whilst also not giving minutes to two players we paid 20M for.

I like Broadie, I really do, but I do think that £7m is a very good price for him with only a year left on his contract. If we go up this year (big if!) hes not going to be good enough for the prem. And if Hutch stays, as seems posible now, tgen hes not likely to play much this season.

Other opinions are allowed though!

Boro ITKer says transfer fee *and* wages agreed for Hackney. But he wants "time to think"...

If he does go I will be sad. Super player might be his reliability in managing his injuries that will cut his time here but a wonderful mover of the ball, creative link man.

Will be missed by me but with my best wishes also. That middle of Feb to end of April league 1 performances were as higher a technical level as I had seen from an Ipswich in a long while.

I can’t deny it’s stupendous money, I’d have guessed half that if you’d asked me - and whilst he’s never seemed like a young/turn-a-profit type signing, it’s excellent business.

But I do love the variety he adds to the front line. He’s a brilliant player at this level, and performed pound-for-pound pretty well last season, in his limited minutes. Sure, we have Clarke and Philogene there, but they’re very similar. Broadhead would undoubtedly win us points this season, he’s underrated by far too many.

Sadly, you may be right about it being ‘good business’, but I don’t see it as excellent news.

Hmmmm not sure I like the sound of that, given this has been going on a few days already had time to think. Hopefully just time to whatsapp Omari to check he is staying and realising this is where he needs to be.

Feels like there’s a lot to do still. (Obviously there isn’t deal wise).

Not convinced this will happen, he’s obviously not desperate to get down here, which is a shame.

Hopefully penny will drop, outside the prem where is better, Kmac is one of the best out there and proven to dramatically improve young players.

On top of that we are one of the favourites for promotion, so only losing a year out of the prem

The only Muff in Town.

£7M for Broadhead seems very fair. However as fans the prices we pay/receive make little to no difference. Therefore I’d much rather keep hold of Broadhead. That said if it’s either 1 of keeping Hutchinson or Broadhead I’d rather keep Hutchinson.

I’m assuming he’s a boro lad so maybe that’s what’s holding him back from
Appearing to be indifferent by the move.

But playing in a team who will be set up to play football, under a coach who’s shown he can develop players you would think would be a draw.

You assume under Edward’s,, unless he’s changing his style of course he will be swing the ball lofted over him and he’s going to have to be a box to box runner.

I’ve heard that the Luton players were nowhere near fit enough last year, their conditioning was terrible under his watch, so something to watch out for if he does join if he’s way if the pace of what we would expect fitness wise.

Maybe our old mate Fridge can have a quiet word with Hackney for us!
