Agree with Scuzzer that Sky have a scattergun approach to their rumours. But we do need another DM imo (even if Hackney signs). We’d then have 2 out and out DMs and two more adventurous CMs, although HH is defensively very solid. Hopefully it’s not a link that’s surfaced because HH has rejected us. [Post edited 1 Aug 17:56]

That would be quite ridiculous. Is there even a case for saying an improvement on last year? I’m not sure. I’ve not seen Azor in the flesh and can’t say I remember seeing Morton but know he’s highly regarded.
I still think we’ll miss Morsy. There are better players around, and Azor should be an upgrade on paper, but Morsy’s impact seemed to be so much larger than his ability. He was a force of nature. | |
