As you would expect.
We are a load of individuals at the moment, some of whom have eyes on a move. Strangers. It’s going to take time and patience (not a lot of that about, sadly) to build a team. How long? No idea, but the first thing is to see what the squad looks like after the transfer window. And where we are after six games both in performances and results.

Think we need to survive to 60 minutes, then we'll start turning the screws hard on them. If this is the very best they can play they might scrape the top 6 but they're nowhere near Southampton Leicester or Sheffield United. | | | |

I’m with you a bit on this. They look vulnerable at the back if you ask me. Their CB’s don’t like being turned around and are jittery on the ball. They’re struggling to create too. But they’re not giving us an inch. Their work rate off the ball has been very good. |  |

We have that same panicky lack of composure look that we had most of last season which is unsurprising given this is more or less the team from last season. | | | |

We rushed passes far too often, which was evident in pre-season too, before we settled into the games. We never really settled into tonight’s game - Birmingham were partially responsible for that, but the ref didn’t help with so many unnecessary interruptions and the ball was in the air far too often for us.
Lots to work on, but we’ll have very few games as tumultuous as tonight’s. | | | |
