Hope he tears it up there and finds confidence.
Still potentially our best keeper but he's done here for sure. Which is disappointing because i'm not sure we can afford to dump £9m players who have a rough start and aren't an instant success. You start piling those losses up and its a recipe for trouble.
And honestly, in the long run if we get anything close to what we paid for him we'll have got away with this one.
Alternative to a sale if things dont work out, the only way we get some money back on this are season long loan fees and wages off the books. Similar to Jens Cajuste... i'm sure they want him sold but £2m+ back over 2 seasons is the next best thing. [Post edited 10 Aug 2025 15:45]
