It actually makes me sad the level of vitriol aimed at some of our players, it seems there are people that almost seem to take delight that players like Clarke and Al Hamadi aren’t quite performing as we’d hoped.
Obviously people must feel that the more criticism and abuse they get, the higher their confidence and performances will get better.
It’s funny as I don’t see the same level of criticism towards Chaplin, although he was equally guilty of misplaced passes and poor finishing tonight. |  | | |

I understand the concept of the halo effect and how it influences perception, but I also think some of our fans need to take a long hard look at the way they are behaving.
