FAO OMARIS AGENT..... 23:56 - Aug 12 with 1080 views | Marshalls_Mullet | If you happen to check this forum to see what the fall out of Omaris behavior is.... Know that the blame is on you. He had a release clause in his contract, with a set fee. If you couldn't get your client a move, when he had an active release clause.... then you are incompetent and he should be sacking you. Tell him to grow up and get back to work. [Post edited 12 Aug 23:57]

Omari is responsible for his behaviour. But it's his agents job to get him a move. He failed to do that when his client had an active release clause. What a useless agent.

He won’t go for less than 35M and he won’t be an Ipswich player in September, so there’s that.

Exactly. We've stood in nobody's way. There was ample time for the clause to be met and it wasn't. This latest thing with being 'unable to contribute' etc could be all part of another magic plan to get Town to accept any old bid just to get him out of the door. The club need to get the balance right between what's best for the club whilst not having their arses handed to them.

In terms of your last sentence, I suspect having to sell Delap for way under market value means we might dig in on the fee even more.

More importantly, we are financially secure enough to take the view that we cannot be bullied by this sort of nonsense, because it sets a precedent.

Yes. Although we don’t really have many others that many clubs would be bidding for more than we paid right now.
