Kipre 09:14 - Aug 13 with 2340 views | FrimleyBlue | So, moving on then folks, what did we all think of Kipre Bit of a beast isnt he. His build and movement reminded me so much of bramble, ignored clarke a fair bit, but he did a solid job overall and will be an interesting battle with greaves i think

Kipre on 09:18 - Aug 13 with 2286 views | Guthrum | He did give the ball away a bit (far from alone in that, even the usually accurate Woolfenden did it last night), but solid defensively and not shy of taking the ball and trying to make things happen.

Yeah sloppy in possession I thought and better sides could have capitalised on that. Agree with your positive points too. He wasn't afraid to concede a foul when he identified we were defensively exposed also, which I liked. They had a breakaway around 85' and he didn't keep up with it, wasn't sure if he was gassed or if it was something else, then he came off shortly afterwards. Hopefully he's alright. Kipre on 09:40 - Aug 13 with 2020 views | CopfordBlue | He did ok. I’d have preferred us to have kept Burgess but that’s not a reflection on Kipre, more how highly I rate CB.

Kipre on 10:22 - Aug 13 with 1708 views | Radlett_blue | He's a slight upgrade on Toto Nsiala. Seems very right footed for a player who seems to want to play left centre back.

Kipre on 11:28 - Aug 13 with 1530 views | tetchris | I would have put him up front for the last ten minutes it would have given their defence something different to think about. Couldn’t have done any worse than AAH!

Kipre on 11:46 - Aug 13 with 1414 views | cressi | Passing poor rash at times. Wolfenden is our best carrier and passer of the ball the rest are distinctly average.
Kipre on 13:27 - Aug 13 with 1140 views | Vic | I have to admit that I was expecting more from him. I was only watching on an 8in screen so may have missed things, but he seemed a little loose in control at times and his passing didn't seem as good as I'd have liked. I thought he was a downgrade on Burgess. But it was one game and others saw it differently so i'm happy with that.

Kipre on 15:23 - Aug 13 with 882 views | darkhorse28 | Difficult to judge, but I’m sure he’s good at this level, not better than Burgess but has the attributes to add value. The best centre back last night was the Ipswich number 5 for Bromley - he was excellent. I’m guessing there’s reasons he’s at that level, but I thought he looked like he loved defending and doing the nasty stuff. We lack pace at the back .., I think that’s going to be an issue for us.., Dara and Greaves both lack a little bit. Peak Titus would be nice. He’d make either of them look better.
Kipre on 16:31 - Aug 13 with 713 views | blue_curacao | There was one header in the second half near the halfway line that I particularly enjoyed. He absolutely wiped out the Bromley player 😀

Kipre on 16:46 - Aug 13 with 623 views | runaround | Defensively I thought he was okay but he worried me when he had the ball as his feet and was looking to pass or run.

Wasn't Dara one of the fastest players in the Prem last year? Leif is no slouch either.
Kipre on 16:54 - Aug 13 with 553 views | SheffordBlue | Thought he tried to make things happen with his passing. Much happier on trying to pass through the lines in the middle of the pitch whereas Greaves likes to go outside down the line to Lief. His passes didn't always come off but you when he did they were good progressive passes.

Wasn't O'Shea clocked as one of the fastest players in the Prem? Greaves isn't slow either.

Kipre on 17:07 - Aug 13 with 481 views | Herbivore | Thought Kipre looked alright overall, will be a more than decent back up at Championship level. Pretty solid but, like others, didn't use the ball as well as he could have.

Not sure, just the eyeball test.., maybe it’s reading the game, something Young did brilliantly last night.., always in the right place at the right time.., half a second before anyone else. Leif is quick .., and some engine too, he just can’t defend, he can’t get the positional side right, gets caught the wrong side so many times, and that left side when we don’t have the ball is really weak defensively…, Clarke is like an empty crisp packet, and Leif gets done on his inside a lot, teams are already targeting those areas. Great in the ball down the left mind.., that could be a good attacking partnership given tine.., get a feeling they love playing together. But if we don’t secure enough ball, we will get punished down that side…, Young was a masterclass in what positions to take up .., it’s one of my biggest worries with McKenna - he’s worked with Leif for 3 years, and positional basics still seem a problem. Hey ho, 3 points on Sunday and it’s a different energy around the place.
