Hypothetically who would win the following fights?
A wild Stallion versus a Centaur
A Polar Bear versus The Minotaur
For clarity, all the above animals are a tad grumpy and hungry - imagine looking after a couple overtired toddlers, missing out on lunch and then standing on a plug and then Lego in quick succession.
The landscape will be like a wasteland with some trees and rocks scattered on the ground. No other weapons for the mythical animals.

Not even close.
Centaur would wipe the floor with the stallion. It has hands it could use weapons. Usually they are depicted with a spear or bow and arrow.
Polar bear would beat the minotaur though. Those things are tough. Unless the minotaur could get it's hands on an RPG or anti tank rifle it won't be able to do enough damage before the bear closes in and has it for lunch. |  |

Centaur - got all the hooves for battle plus hands for eye gauging/ dirty tactics.
The terrain would suit the polar bear, Minotaur for memory had a kind of labyrinth that it would have known like the back of its (hand/ hoof.) Think the original
depictions of a Minotaur had no weapon, bulls head, human body. It’s the bear surely. |  |

The Centaur beats the Stallion at a canter.
As well as being able to smash rocks at the Stallion, the way Mustangs fight (raised up on rear legs, front legs attempting to kick the head of the other Stallion) gives an advantage to the Centaur, whose body is longer than the Stallions neck, and this easier to keep out of range.
The Minotaur has been living underground for its entire adult life, so it's eyesight is going to be appalling. Blinded by the glare of the sun, and with extreme short-sightedness. The Polar bear would get in killing blows before the Minotaur has any chance of adapting to the light.
The conditions you describe are what Polar Bears face in Canada during the Spring every year.
The Polar Bear is quicker than the Minotaur, which has human legs. |  | | |
