Something is cooking at Birmingham on 19:59 - Aug 16 with 1740 views | GeoffSentence | As a fan of a recently relegated premier league club expected to do well this season, the proper response is to dismiss their early league form and claim that they will soon drop off. So you did it wrong. As am I, they will be right up there.

Something is cooking at Birmingham on 20:01 - Aug 16 with 1724 views | Big_Jase | Definitely got momentum and a habit of winning games, however my feeling is that they will finish about 10th. They didn’t look that special against us and we were really poor.

Something is cooking at Birmingham on 20:01 - Aug 16 with 1705 views | FrimleyBlue | Said on the weekend, that was a solid point against a side who will challenge for promotion, with the sht we're in at the moment squad wise, any points a good point

Something is cooking at Birmingham on 20:08 - Aug 16 with 1548 views | _clive_baker_ | See the desire to counter in the 98th minute from the Blackburn corner as well. They’re going to be a force this season.
Something is cooking at Birmingham on 20:15 - Aug 16 with 1444 views | Everydayblue | My gut feeling is that they can't play with so much intensity for a whole 46 matches... They are definitely enjoying life at the moment.. Fare play to them. But, injuries, fatigue, squad depth, luck with how fixtures play out, etc , etc.... Us and Leicester had Championship record starts to the season. And still couldn't shake off Leeds and Southampton until the last couple of games of our promotion season..... Long way to go yet. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

They're looking to do an Ipswich, but the big difference is people are talking about them in August, whereas the real Ipswich were being written off until April, and were only odds-on after Leeds capitulated at Qpr in their penultimate game (we had 3 left).

We’ll have changed the whole team by the time the window closes though. Maybe we’re doing our own 5 Monkeys experiment.

They have 4 strikers, that will make them a threat

They are expected to finish top 6 as a minimum, and yet we get messages suggesting it’ll be impressive/a surprise if they achieve that.

Indeed they're a quality outfit. And Demarai Gray is looking like the player that quickly ascended from the Championship all those years ago tbf to him. Healthy competition like them will hopefully push us onwards.
