I thought she was a myth - but clearly not! |
Apparently not a myth as I thought the same but my wife has mentioned Mickfield Mary on a few occasions when we’ve driven along the A140 near the Debenham junction.
She isn’t/wasn’t the lady in question ( my wife that is), but she’d heard stories about her when she was younger told to her by a few family and friends. [Post edited 19 Aug 7:00]

When Mick was still here I didn’t think that I would be able to make a game but in the end I could. Arrived at the ground at around 14:45ish and thought that I could just pay on the gate. But no - had to go to the shop and buy a ticket. In fairness, I only had a card on me so under Evans that technology was beyond the capabilities of the club to accept.
I doubt very much that paying on the gate is a thing now. |
Pay on the gate? I guess maybe there are some restricted view tickets still available at match time. But on the whole it seems most tickets sell out well before match day and are pretty hard to get hold of unless you get online at the right time.
2 years ago I got my son a junior membership and it came with a free ticket, thats not a thing anymore no more easy tickets. |  |
