Ofgen predictably increase prices for winter 11:03 - Aug 27 with 1561 viewsRIPbobby

When people obviously use more gas/electricity. Very sneaky after reducing the price the last 2 years during the summer. Weak excuse to.

Do not trust society/government. Lining their own pockets. Disgusting behaviour. Mind you it's bringing them closer to civil war when the English fight back.

Govt schemes costs have increased higher than the drop in wholesale costs. Miliband is energy minister.

It's almost like privatised energy is a drain on the the country.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

No it wasn’t (and ironic you call others gullible) - there’s about 4 fact check services each one will point out the obvious errors (including 58bn uncosted for women’s pensions). His renationalisation programme wasn’t either - because it he didn’t know what the fixed costs were (would be decided in court). Plus he omitted a further £60bn of National Grid infrastructure which would also need to be acquired to bring energy under state operation.

All the above was in his 2019 manifesto. Honestly Corbynistas’s are very Trumpist in denial of actual facts.

Not true.

It was fully costed. McDonnell actually pioneered the costing approach with both documents published alongside each other.

The signatories included:

Bruce V Rauner Professor of Economics, Dartmouth College; Professor of Economics. University of Stirling; former member, Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee

Victoria Chick

Lord Meghnad Desai

Stephany Griffith-Jones
Emeritus Professorial Fellow, Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex; Financial Markets Director, Initiative for Policy Dialogue, Columbia University

Simon Wren-Lewis
Emeritus Professor of Economics and Fellow of Merton College, University of Oxford

I'm not a Corbynista. I just wanted mild democratic socialism.

The National Grid piece is absolutely true (it wasn’t included in the cost) - as was the women’s pensions added and completely uncosted. Even the IFS was unable to reconcile his numbers on Energy renationalisation.

“It is difficult to estimate exactly how much nationalisation will save or cost, as the outcome of nationalisation will depend on a wide range of factors.”

The signatories are only approving what was put in front of them - not what went into the final manifesto (I.e the stuff he just threw in).

Corbyn's 2019 manifesto was fully costed.

The 'grown up' politics that the media and the gullible thought they were getting is in government now. Starmer and co. That's working out well isn't it?

what's your party's principles? what are their propositions?

labours would include supporting education, not crashing the economy, having an nhs free at the point of use, investing in clean energy etc etc, sure you could take a look on their website!

the beauty of never being in power like your corbyns/farages/galloways/lowes is that you can promise the moon on a stick and never have to compromise...

A nurse in this country graduates with 50k+ of debt.

They are about to enter into more disastrous PFI initiatives.

Starmer cancelled the Green New Deal.

Education is in crisis.

They are complicit in a genocide.

Reeves has boxed herself into a corner - just wait until the reaction to the Autumn budget.

They have no principles.

so you're criticising the degree of the principle, that's fair, no-one ever achieves 100% of their priciples. doesn't mean they don't exist

however, notice you haven't given any principles of your party at all. i'm not surprised!
