The first half, once our midfield has wrestled control, was brilliant and a real insight of what could happen if things click. The second half hadn't really got going before the penalty, which was a defensive nightmare, as was the second.
Previously I felt the issue with us defensively was a weak midfield. Now it feels like we have an upper hand there, but look really shaky at the back. Woolfenden deserves a chance, but more likely is he gets sold and we bring another CB in. Perhaps today will result in a revised bid for Caceres. |  |
