They’ve never had good support without kids for a quid or prem football. We’ve just come down from the Prem and the expectation is we go back this season. I’m not sure we can really compare our club to theirs.
We’ve bounced back from extinction under Evans and in our worst period ever they couldn’t overtake us or achieve anything of note. That’s why they’re all over the place. The only hope they have is us having a bad season and not righting this start we’ve had.

I'm all in for a bit of budgie bashing, but i must admit I don't get the whole clamour for who has the most fans attending matches. The truth is we both have a similar sized following, and similar sized grounds. They have been out of the Prem for 4(?) years now, of course the amount of day trippers is going to fall away after the limited success in the last half a decade. If we spend a similar amount of time back in the Championship I doubt our attendances will be much different. |  | | |

Hopefully anybody moaning that they haven’t enough membership points to go to away games will get tickets.
