Right town. Time to be the best versions of ourselves 21:23 - Sep 2 with 836 views | FrimleyBlue | Sad farewells, memories to bring up in futures to come But time to get this project moving into it's next phase.. becoming an established prem club. We've got the cat 1 project underway, our u18s and u21s beginning to show some potential gems coming through. New training ground and a new squad full higher level potential. But only the players themselves can make it happen. KM can give them the opportunity just like he did for the previous group. So itfc 2025/2026. Time to step up. Lead from all positions. Leave nothing out there and be the best version of yourselves COYB!!!! Time for new heroes!

Aston Brent souds like the kind of TV character featured in TV shows that were shown during the afternoon even in the '80s.

Use my humour and my profile to both help and amuse people." David Brent - basically a chilled out entertainer.

Sounds a bit like how I expect my obituary to sound, minus the "Australian fast bowler" and the "blonde permed mullet" comments, of course. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Right town. Time to be the best versions of ourselves on 11:04 - Sep 3 with 245 views | darkhorse28 | What’s held them back the last 18 months? We weren’t at it the last month of 23/24 either if we’re honest. Man Utd at home, Spurs, Fulham away …, Chelsea at home, that’s not a lot of games we’ve been our best selves, is 44 games still a blip? What if the reasons we haven’t been successful are still here? Because Burgess, Morsy, Chaplin, were first and foremost WINNERS They were cast adrift and we produced the worst season for points in our history, and our leadership group and belief crumbled more and more …, and more. We try to solve with coaching, what Ashton and McKenna now very obviously don’t recognise…., the traits needed to build a team dynamic. We have a huge amount of talent…; but we didn’t lack talent last season either, we just had a lot of players who regressed. Why couldn’t McKenna get the best from Clarke? Philogene? Greaves? Oshea? Phillips? Hutchinson? Leif? Why? You do need to answer that. There has to be a reason SO many have gone so far backwards, it’s not a quirk at this point is it. And we’ve spent £200 million now replacing the core group TWICE in 12 months. Where clubs might change the voice players aren’t responding to, we changed ALL the players, and it’s obscene the turnover of players, and self induced too. So when will you address the elephant in the room? Are we sure the two dozen players were the problem? Clarke, Philogene, Greaves, Hutchinson, they were EFL team of the year levels …, they aren’t league one team of the year level after a year of coaching. So why? A year isn’t form anymore.., there’s an elephant in the room. You can’t see it …, your heads in the sand. £200 million…, if we don’t go up, the consequences will be a decade long! I hope your emotional investment in one man is worth throwing the club under the bus.

I am hardly a happy clapper and have been concerned particularly about our recruitment, but this level of constant negativity and doom mongering is way over the top. You mention Elephant in the Room twice in your post, is that a hint?
