Interesting time for Omari 11:00 - Sep 9 with 5266 views | unstableblue | Nuno was generally a sit deep and break fast manager as I understood it. And wasn’t sure if that would have suited Omari - he failed in that system for Town. Nuno was seen as manager who developed players technically. Does Ange? Omari was seen as being behind Ndoi and McAtee… but Ndoi hasn’t hit the ground running and Forest felt Omari was going to get a chance, despite being left out of Europe squad. Now Ange has come in… this doesn’t feel like a Edu appointment?! Despite Edu probably being a key reason Nuno left. May help Omari get game time… but feels like this could end a car crash I don’t really know how to describe Ange style and tactics… a blancmange?!

Interesting time for Omari on 14:52 - Sep 9 by farkenhell | Amongst all the horsesh!t in this post, the suggestion that we didn't develop Omari well is quite staggering. |
Particularly when he stresses how good Hutch is - where did he develop those skills over the past 2 seasons then?? Interesting that he uses the phrase ‘elephant in the room’ though, many similarities with that long gone poster

Interesting time for Omari on 14:06 - Sep 9 by Miaow | A comment underneath the BBC Sport story on Postecoglou's appointment: Strap in Forest fans! Ange-ball is like ordering a 3am kebab. It's messy, will leave your stomach in bits, and you'll wonder why you put yourself through it... but you'll be back for more next week |
Hope I don't end up finding the remains of Omari tossed over my front garden wall any time soon then.

I noticed that. The dark horse's favourite phrase appears to be Elephant in the Room. Elephant's was Franchise FC. All we need now is a new poster called Franchise to bang on about horses and we'll have a classic triumvirate!

Interesting time for Omari on 13:29 - Sep 9 by waveneyblue | Darkhorse guide to Posting - Example one Join a thread about any matter involving football Post a ridiculously long post that starts about subject, then moves on to slating Ipswich Town Repeat time and time again |
Great summary! The most boringly negative poster on the whole site.
Interesting time for Omari on 12:34 - Sep 10 with 627 views | PioneerBlue | I don’t know whether im that bothered unless it’s the attractiveness of a sell on fee. He wanted out of ITFC, he wasn’t willing to help kick start our season in the Championship when others have in the past for relegated teams. He is part of some great memories but his leaving presents an opportunity. I expect the last thing he’s concerned with is a change of manager, I very much doubt he was sold on the move by the manager at NF. The money and the PL badge was enough, he might have had one eye on MGW moving in a window or 2. [Post edited 10 Sep 21:25]

Forest net spend £100m greater over the last four years on 11:39 - Sep 9 by unstableblue | £400m in fees paid by Forest Different owner, bank balance and risk appetite to us Let’s see where Town are come the end of Sept. But agree if it isn’t in a better position, scrutiny of manager required. |
We spent slightly more than them in our respective first seasons. Same risk appetite, we can’t knock Gamechangers financial commitment to McKenna and Ashton. Different outcomes. They’re in Europe, we are where we are, after our worst ever league season. With the respective January spends, we actually spent a chunk more. By definition, they’ve done everything better on and off the pitch. A similar sized legacy club, and exactly what we need to compete with. IF we want any success. And I don’t think many of our fans do want success, if it brings difficult decisions. Some would rather cling on to our second to Plymouth in the third tier like it’s the pinnacle of what we could do ver hope to achieve.., they have ambition, too to bottom, belief, they want it. Some of us want Forest Green just so we can enjoy a Saturday again, that’s not elite. We are better than Mark Ashton, or we need to be if we want success.
