Interesting time for Omari 11:00 - Sep 9 with 4261 viewsunstableblue

Nuno was generally a sit deep and break fast manager as I understood it. And wasn’t sure if that would have suited Omari - he failed in that system for Town.

Nuno was seen as manager who developed players technically. Does Ange?

Omari was seen as being behind Ndoi and McAtee… but Ndoi hasn’t hit the ground running and Forest felt Omari was going to get a chance, despite being left out of Europe squad.

Now Ange has come in… this doesn’t feel like a Edu appointment?! Despite Edu probably being a key reason Nuno left.

May help Omari get game time… but feels like this could end a car crash

I don’t really know how to describe Ange style and tactics… a blancmange?!

Poll: Has this been a positive transfer window, and are Town stronger for it?

Amongst all the horsesh!t in this post, the suggestion that we didn't develop Omari well is quite staggering.

Particularly when he stresses how good Hutch is - where did he develop those skills over the past 2 seasons then??

Interesting that he uses the phrase ‘elephant in the room’ though, many similarities with that long gone poster

A comment underneath the BBC Sport story on Postecoglou's appointment:

Strap in Forest fans! Ange-ball is like ordering a 3am kebab. It's messy, will leave your stomach in bits, and you'll wonder why you put yourself through it... but you'll be back for more next week

Hope I don't end up finding the remains of Omari tossed over my front garden wall any time soon then.

I noticed that. The dark horse's favourite phrase appears to be Elephant in the Room. Elephant's was Franchise FC. All we need now is a new poster called Franchise to bang on about horses and we'll have a classic triumvirate!

Darkhorse guide to Posting - Example one

Join a thread about any matter involving football

Post a ridiculously long post that starts about subject, then moves on to slating Ipswich Town

Repeat time and time again

Great summary! The most boringly negative poster on the whole site.

I don’t know whether are that bothered unless it’s the attractiveness of a sell on fee. He wanted out of ITFC, he wasn’t willing to help kick start our season in the Championship when others have in the past for relegated teams. I expect the last thing he’s concerned with is a change of manager, it very much doubt he was sold on the move by the manager. The money and the PL badge was enough, I guess he has one eye on MGW moving in a window or 2.
