Important question/advice required....... on 16:15 - Sep 12 by Dubtractor | Trousers, but not jeans. Something more like a chino fabric would be ideal. A shame I won't have my legs on display really, as it takes away a treat for the ladies. |
....I've got a pair of Lois Jumbo Cords in brown. I could wear them I guess. | |

Important question/advice required....... on 16:37 - Sep 12 with 461 views | DistantBlue | This all makes me think of a discussion with one of the 14 year old girls I teach. She was sitting in class quite literally in a puddle on the floor. She'd been caught in a downpour on the way into school. I say "Haven't you got any rain trousers?". She says "But they make me look like a fireman". On a nippy evening, you could go for the fireman look......you might even get into the ground for free. [Post edited 12 Sep 16:45]

Important question/advice required....... on 16:41 - Sep 12 with 450 views | Cafe_Newman | A large St George's flag should work for all weather conditions: Double-wrapped if there's a nip in the air. Off the shoulders if it's sultry. Or even fashioned into a make-shift bivouac if there's a downpour. The national flag: the Swiss army knife of any footy fan's wardrobe. EDIT: I suspected that wouldn't make it past some people's comedy filters. I hope we win tonight to lighten the mood in this place. [Post edited 12 Sep 17:09]

Do not mock, those trousers are brilliant. Fantastic for the outdoor life and changeable weather. Currently thunder and huge rain here in the Waveney valley [Post edited 12 Sep 17:00]

Important question/advice required....... on 18:30 - Sep 12 with 237 views | GlasgowBlue | Get a pair of two piece North Face hiking trousers. That way, if the weather is warmer than you thought you can unzip the bottom section and turn them into shorts. No charge for this advice. [Post edited 12 Sep 18:32]
