I've not seen any of it, nor know anything about the ladies team but surely going up a league is a massive factor?

The step up for the club going from part time to full time professional setup is huge. It is not just a case of promotion and going up a league, far more complex and challenging for the club than that.
What will help is that I don’t think there is any relegation this season as they expanding to 14 teams next season so this season can be used to try and get a foothold in the professional game and prepare for next season.
