Blackburn players didn’t come out to thank their fans after the call off…. 07:46 - Sep 21 with 1181 viewsITFC_Forever

But somehow some people have managed to find an angle to criticise ours for doing so and giving their shirts away.

And on another note, there were ITFC staff members in the away end giving away drawstring bags with the new shirt in to kids.

The results will come, but the club is in a good place.

To be fair, looked like most of the Blackburn fans had gone home by the time our players came back out to thank ours! Nice to hear about the fans getting shirts - saw Leif and a few other players giving shirts to the kids at the front.

Well done to the fans who made the journey yesterday - no doubt free coach travel or similar for the ones who did when (not if - feeling confident) the match is replayed.

I saw Leif open up his top to show he’d already given away his shirt and just shrug it off. That shows the contempt they hold us in. If they were genuine they should have given us everything and left the field naked

In response to the OP, I don’t think anyone’s questioned the connection to us fans. We also have a lot of loyal supporters who stick with the team through thick and thin. People are disappointed with how poor we look, which is exacerbated by higher expectations given the amount of money we’ve spent. Although they were happy after the Sheffield United game so maybe it’s best not to overanalyse any reaction.

Bit different. Their fans didn't have a 10+ hour round trip.

True.

But if it had happened at Portman Road, I’d have thought our players would still have come out.
Whether we’ve travelled a 10 hour round trip or their fans have travelled a 10 minute walk, the fans have still come out in poor weather to support the team and then hung around waiting for the situation to be resolved.

I'm not a fan of Greaves but that's fooking astonishing coming from you.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.
