Rotation over the next 3 19:33 - Sep 22 with 985 views | SheffordBlue | Mainly because I'm bored of threads on the abandonment/replay. Moving on to other matters - with Sat/Tues/Sun period coming up what rotation if any do we think well see? Nunez to start Sat and the Nodge game with Cajuste starting at Bristol - or the other way around? A Clarke start in one of them or just see how Philogene gets on? Does Sindre get a start (difficult to judge based off the little we've seen IMO)

Rotation over the next 3 on 19:38 - Sep 22 with 945 views | GlasgowBlue | We are at home in our next game so need to be more attacking. So I agree, Nunez for Cajuste. I'd also start Young at right back. I'd keep Philogene in the starting line up at the moment. Maybe play Clarke against Bristol City. Think we need to keep Sindre as a finisher at the moment. Shame the sending off ruined his chance to come on Saturday.

Rotation over the next 3 on 19:41 - Sep 22 with 914 views | FrimleyBlue | really, for us to get going this season, we need relationships to form, if we rotate to soon, itll never happen, there's not much training time before we start to see sat tue sat tue, so for now i'd keep the same lineup for a few games, then begin to rotate from end of october, that way a core of the squad has built some partnerships, the only thing i think we may need to do is the cajuste nunez swap, but i like cajuste so it pains me to say it, but i think nunez is better

KM really needs to get it right….. on 20:06 - Sep 22 with 837 views | Bloots | ….over these next 3 games. If we haven’t picked up another win after the norwich match then I think questions are going to be asked of him, probably quite rightly. I think it’s the most pressure he’s been under during his tenure and it will be interesting to see how he handles it.

If we don't win any of the next 3 then questions will be very justified tbh. I'm in the camp that won't judge too much on the first few games, especially with the squad churn (Taylor starting was a major issue for me), but 1 win in 8 would be a VERY bad start to the season. I'm fairly certain that won't happen though, and can see improvements week on week, even if we're clearly not firing on all cylinders yet. To go back to the OP and rotation options, I'm intrigued to see what Azon brings to the party, as I'm not sure that Hirst offers enough goal threat alongside his undoubted work rate.

....all aspects of what I have seen of him indicates that he looks most comfortable and dangerous when he is in the box, sniffing out an opportunity. But we don't really get the ball into the box, other than from set pieces! We may need to change our style even more to get the best out of him, is he a starter in a rotation? I don't know.

Despite the regular subs (which seem to be coming a bit earlier again this season), KM does tend to stick with his preferred starting line up. I suspect minimal changes. Now go and watch him rotate 7 of them!

I think we try to get the ball in the box a fair bit, with crosses from wide (particularly on the right), just there is often only a couple of our men in there, so it is intercepted by a defender instead. Maybe somebody with a lot of skill in positioning and sniffing out those opportunities could take better advantage of that.

Sindre would have had a chance to come on at the beginning if he was picked to come on at the beginning. If McKenna wants to stake his reputation on McAteer being a better bet, then fine, and I hope it ends well for all concerned. But I really don't see it. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

….starting to do away with the dithering on the edge of the box and starting to play a bit more direct, I expect we will soon too.
