I don't think he disagreed with the decision. From the full comments he disagreed with the ref saying that he had agreed to it i.e. he feels he wasn't asked and the ref said he was. In reality the Ref asking managers whether they are happy with it being abandoned is really a rhetorical question rather than an actual one. [Post edited 24 Sep 13:39]
