Greaves was consistently weak and bullied by the opposition as well as getting caught wrong side yet again. A CB needs to stand strong and win duels not look at the ref with a hang dog expression every time there is contact.

We definitely created more and were more of a threat on the left hand side though. Leif and Clarke caused more problems than Furlong and McAteer. There was a period of play in the first half where we switched play to the right flank and it was pretty ineffective.

He's improving with the ball at his feet. And made a decent stop, late on. Would like him to be a little more commanding at set pieces/ crosses. Thought Nunez played well within himself. Looked ok first half when playing deep. Had more time and space. But was pretty ineffective higher up the pitch, considering he's supposed to be the man to unpick the lock. In his defence, probably still getting to know the runners ahead of him, atm. Bit harsh on Greaves score. He was at least a solid 7, imo. Subs 5 ?..... I'd give Egeli a 4, just for that free kick. Shame we didn't have Young on the pitch for those two Free Kicks at the end.

Akpom IMO went looking for the ball rather than making things happen and linking up with Azon, who i thought did ok, but no support. Agree McAteer was also ineffective, but our game plan, which every team we play now knows we are gonna go, is down the left with Leif & Clarke/Jaden. its becoming so predictable. Bristol city last night as soon as they could, they switched to down our right and furlong was 2 on 1 nearly every time. we have an in balance in play formations that favours our left side. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I think O'Shea told Walle-Egeli to shoot so it wasn't a cross
