I don’t give the 16 year thing any mind at all, given that the fixture wasn’t played in 10 of those years. Nevertheless, 14 matches is the longest unbeaten run either team has had in the fixture - Town’s longest unbeaten run is 8 matches between March 1978 and December 1980.
