Looking over at the away end after FT 16:16 - Oct 5 with 1455 viewsMiaow

to see them berating their players who had gone over to acknowledge them whilst ours were celebrating near the North Stand/Cobbold corner...

I laughed out loud.

Long overdue and a rather warm feeling, I must say.

They don’t look impressed…

I thought their team was better than their fans today. Joining in when Town fans were singing “sacked in the morning” is ridiculous in a derby. As for song about having a party when Marcelino dies - pathetic. I get the rivalry and would be annoyed if one of our best players left us for them but hand on heart wouldn’t sing a sick song like that.

Norwich are a poor team, they’re going to be fighting relegation but they worked hard, battled and made a game of it.

Poll: Most enjoyable calendar year as an Ipswich supporter

Given the disparity in resources I thought they gave us a good game today.

Pathetic from their fans to give the players that much abuse. They gave it their all but for the first time in a long time we simply have far far superior players and coach. They weren’t not trying.

Humourless and entitled is how I’d describe their fan base. Cnts anothet good word too.

They’re still one of the highest spenders and highest wage payers in the league. Our team is far superior to theirs now but they’ve pi**ed a lot of money up the wall since being in the premier league. With their resources, top 6 should be their expectation but they’re royally f***ing it up which is lovely to see!

He probably makes up for it with an abundance of toes.

I thought similar tbh. They're a poor team in terms of quality which was set up quite well

Tbh they were in the game for long spells in the first half and closed us down well. We played the right type on ball in the circumstances, which was running in behind their defence.
Sometimes it's annoying that we play about at the back and play that ball out to Cajuste which sometimes led to them turning the ball over.
We used to do similar with Morsy and occasionally led to goals for the other side.
Second half they visibly tired and our subs combined for the third goal,
If we are anywhere near the top come Christmas I'd like to see another striker come in.
Sometimes I feel Szmodics is sacrificed as a striker as he spends a lot of time chasing down opposing players.
An excellent result and the momentum needs to be carried forward. Pity there's now another of those annoying International breaks.

If / when they lose Sargent, in January. I think they'll be League One bound. Tin pot club beyond belief and for so long punching way above their weight. No more parachute money to mask that fact..... they're finished!

though our fans sang that about Wilder the other week and sing about being happy when Delia dies, so can't berate them
