I'm more a fan of College Football (effectively the second tier, but with 100k crowds), having been introduced to it by a friend who is a Gators fan.

The Netflix docuseries on the Gators is great, really enjoyed it.
I have a passing interest in the Seahawks, only because I've been to Lumen Field (to watch MLS).

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.
Poll: Which recent triallist should we have signed?

Exactly me Guthers. Will watch around 5 college games a week.

Have actually been doing the lines for our NFL markets partially but now almost solely for the college football spreads. I love it.

Preferred college football for maybe 6/7 years now

Poll: Would you take a draw tonight if offered right now?

I absolutely love the NFL but I've really struggled to get into college football. Am a Hurricanes fan by default as I've seen them play and also a Miami Dolphins fan but for some reason I just can't get into it. Sunday during the season I will watch 3/4 NFL games on the bounce but never felt the love for college.

I've met quite a few Americans who are more passionate about their college teams than the pro teams and often follow their alumni around the pro league rather than a particular team

Poll: At what price would you sell our 32 year old Leading Scorer Murphy this summer?

I’m not sure what it is I prefer about college football in truth. I just do. I think originally I liked the fact college games can easily be 60/70 point matches. But then in truth I think I actually preferred the faster tempo. Average time between plays in college is way quicker with many teams going for fast tempo and far less huddles between play calls.

Compared to the NFL, it’s a big difference.

I’m a Georgia Bulldogs fan fwiw. And I quite like Ole Miss too.

Try being a raiders fan. Were spoiled to be the bad boys of the N F L but are forever rebuilding and selecting duds. When we do get a true stud, is Kahil Mack, we trade them for a couple of future rookies who end up being crap.

I take your being a raiders fan and I raise you by being a Titans fan! You think you have problems 😂

I love both and watch a lot of college football (too much tbh) but I understand why some people who love the game just cant get in to it.

There are so many dud games and the talent level between teams is so big that most games simply aren't worth watching. I help one of my friends who lives in the states put together draft profiles for players throughout the year and some of the games I have to sit through are exhaustingly bad.

Poll: Will Paul Lambert be Ipswich Town manager on the final day of this season ?

I became a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan in 1982/83 purely because Tony Kinsella had played for the Tampa Bay Rowdies. It never got any more serious than looking at the scores in the paper on a Monday (which rarely proved inspiring) until I played Madden 99 on the PlayStation. A growing understanding of rules, positions etc. developed me into an avid follower and I am so glad Tony KInsella didn't go somewhere else in 1981.

Followed the Eagles since I saw them at the Pro Bowl at the old Wembley in 1996(?)

Yeah, definitely college football for me. Been a Noles fan since the early '90's when I was living in the Florida panhandle and went to see FSU in Tallahassee.

After a great season in 2023, last year was a total car crash of a season and, despite a great start to this season, this one is turning into another nightmare
