Got home about an hour ago. Can’t really paper over that performance; it was poor, but on another night we maybe get a point and who knows if we’d put the pen away. But the worst thing is the state of this place. All the armchair tw@ts out in force again delighting in the loss. Too many people to put on the div list. It was not a great performance, though our stats were better
On the long drive, brain wind down before bed, and I agree. The toxicity is not great from those who don’t go to the games and sit behind a keyboard and moan all the time
Saying that, the group in the ground behind me were just as bad and had nothing positive to say about anyone, in a very pissed way. | | | |

You are right Joey. It wasn’t good enough. If we are to get out of this division we need to play a lot better than that. We need to out work the opposition, control games and get away from’ not being at it’ as O’Shea indicated.
This is not aimed at you (a long standing TWTDer) but what we need to do better is different to the toxic laying into players that many if not most on here engage in, especially newer posters. The other two contributors in this thread including the OP are correct.
Even a boy of 19 from a foreign country, here two minutes is lined up for the treatment tonight, not least because the club paid a fee. I don’t know why they do this. Maybe it’s because many enjoy piling in far more than encouraging or being analytical. Maybe it’s because they’ve lost faith in McKenna and the owners. I don’t know.
All I know is that the board is the worst it’s ever been and the more interesting posters are gradually being replaced by the boorish, ignorant and entitled. |  | | |

Sometimes you get a better view from the TV
Generally less beer and emotion. We were poor something is wrong there for all to see apart from beating two very poor sides at the time of playing them we have not looked good. We have spent a lot of money and still look like a side who relie on individual moments rather than team moments. I'm not sure where we are going and I do wonder If McKenna can get things back on track it's been ten months of poor results time will tell. | | | |

Can you see why they are top though? Their passing was precise.
And they had they had the rub of the green
- Davis awesome cross from O'Shea long pass shot hit Boro defenders hand
- Penalty wasn't terrible keeper was at full stretch to save it
- Own goal was a bizarre miskick
I guess you are talking about overall performance but Boro are bang on form this season. Was a decent game to watch. |  |
