A Boro fans view on ITFC and last night. 08:17 - Oct 18 with 3897 viewsgdog

Hi, I’ve seen some comments that you played terribly and that your manager has one game left. I’m a Boro fan, and that was a very hard game last night — I was worried we were going to blow a 0–2 lead.

I can honestly see you being champions at the end of the season. We are massively overachieving, and you have class all over the pitch. Remember, your manager won Manager of the Month last week. Like us, you’ve had a taste of promotion and the Premier League and done yourselves proud.

We got promoted in 2015 and haven’t had a sniff since — and we spent fortunes! The Championship is ace, and you’ll be there at the business end of the season when the medals are given out.

Safe journey home to those who stayed over.

Anyone who thinks McK has one game left is off their head.

He’s got loads and loads of credit in the bank before it’s even a conversation to all except the entitled few.

I believe our main problem is currently up front. If Philogene has a poor game or him and Davis are nullified we don't have much coming from the other side. Egeli is still finding his feet and is very young, McAteer hasn't set the world alight and Hirst seems off the pace.
The midfeld is strong and the defence looks o.k.

Decent man, talks a good game, had a good spell for the first two seasons and the press love him. In truth we haven't been up to much for the past ten months and the owners will see Premier League status and all the money that entails slipping away and I am sure they are considering their options.

It always amazes me how some people can look at something, ignore all facts and logic and come to their own bat sh1t conclusion.

If you really believe they are considering their options I really don't know what to say.

Truly impaired.

Thanks for the very kind words. Thought you thoroughly deserved the win.

But, I disagree that we will be champions. The manager is making far too many mistakes and is sticking to a plan which is no longer working. We barely look like scoring away from home. Let alone win a match.

We are a different proposition at home though. Time will tell whether KM is able to muster an away win.

Enjoy your purple patch while it lasts. You were a one man team. You are not getting promoted.

Have you ever been on a Dale Carnegie course?

You are right J2.

Tbh, the comments on here by so many of the bedsheet boys have beggared belief and are beyond tiresome. Time for a break and to leave them to it - especially as the holiday beckons. Ttfn.

Genuinely closer to a season left barring disasters which is as much as 99% of managers ever get. Thought you guys deserved it, after first 10 minutes when neither side could even keep the ball in play I thought between 10-30 mins (the handball) we were looking like we were gradually getting on top but pushed up way too high leading to the couple of breaks and all those saves and ultimately the penalty miss (where I can only assume the ref was evening things up due to the handball as barely a tug on Leif) which seemed to knock the stuffing out of us apart from 10 mins around the goal we pulled back. Still, early doors and I’d have taken playoffs at start of season tbh, still would, good luck to boro.

That’s a great take on the performance/game and my thoughts exactly, still plenty of time to get this season on track , but we must learn to cut out the silly errors.

Truth in football is often met with the old “sour grapes” cliche

Way to show yourself up as a bit of a tool.
Well done.
