Genuinely, why’s it silly? I’m not here calling for his head, but after being one of the top 10 best paid managers in England, he led us to being one of the worst teams in Premier League history, followed by an extremely poor start to this season.
The thing that winds me up most is his lack of changing anything. We continue to play the exact same shape, slow, no intensity every single week, regardless who’s on the pitch. Every substitute is like-for-like, we’re 1-0 down at home to Charlton, yet we defend a set piece with 11 men in our own box. (We then conceded twice doing this). To me, that’s tactically naive, play 3 in midfield, put 2 upfront, change something, that’s what he’s paid to do.

McKenna will keep job for foreseeable. Given his brave choice to rebuild the team he needs time to try and achieve it beyond one transfer window. Russell Osman said McKenna would fail this season as he changed too much at once. Time will tell but Russell views look to be right for now. I think Russell would be happier to be wrong and wants Ipswich to succeed. | | | |

I think £200 million spent, best paid manager ever on this division, and still paid champions league money.
