Of supporters who returned after some success and those who are now writing off squad, manager, management and doing performative outrage for social media likes

Stop pretending it's just people who came back to the club who are frustrated after last night.

There are many who were around during everything concerned tbh

Some try their best to fish for upvotes
some are genuine in their positivity which is fine btw

im caught tbh between km can do what i think and that's have this side putting it on from november and the future is rosy

but also conscious that he could quite easily be another lambert who had a good two seasons getting promoted and that was it.

Such a nonsense argument.

Poll: Will Paul Lambert be Ipswich Town manager on the final day of this season ?

I won't even begin to guess what a venn diagram is, weren't taught about them at school. Times tables were quite enough to contend with.

So do you have to have supported the club for a certain number of years before you’re allowed to question or discuss where things might be going wrong?

I read a lot of your posts and sometimes wonder if you say certain things just to fit in or fish for upvotes. I genuinely admire your positivity and feel your optimism must be refreshing for those around you but from where I’m sitting, trying to keep a balanced outlook, the complete refusal to see anything constructively negative can be a bit frustrating. It’s not outrage to question things when they’re clearly not working.

I was pleasantly surprised by the crowd last night to be honest. A quiet stampede for the exit doors felt a better outcome than loud booing, which would have been the normal reaction at many clubs. I stayed and clapped because I saw effort from most and I feel we're on a precipice.

Also I didn't think we worse than against Boro, genuinely, which I described as a big mess at the time. Charlton punished our defensive chaos much better than Boro did though, while we were even less clinical with even more chances - so a slightly better performance from my perspective with a worse scoreline, and no complaints about either result.

McKenna said after the game the performance wasn't good enough and not what he expects. Is he allowed to say that or hasn’t he been here long enough either ?

I'm not saying it's all a bed of roses. Far from it.

I said that KM isn't beyond reproach. Too many changes last night.

But I think a lot of supporters have become very entitled and the backlash when things aren't 100% smooth sailing is over the top.

We have the same thing in Jan 23 and 24.

Everyone's frustrated but this is football and the championship. Has everyone forgotten the league? KM will get it right.

It wasn't good enough.

But he didn't say the squad is a wrote off, players don't care, Cajuste is a luxury, we are useless etc. did he?

He might not say it publically, but he might be thinking it. He's not going to publicly throw individuals under the bus, rightly so.

I haven't seen any over the top criticism from last night,it was an embarrassing, woeful, gutless 2nd half which has been rightly called out for what it was.

Again, those last five words, why 'will' KMc get it right? What’s that belief based on?

We’ve had 48 games now since things were last 'right' , when exactly is it supposed to come good?

To be clear, I want KMc to succeed. I’m not calling for his head, or even questioning his position, just wondering what he can actually change to make a difference right now.

Re Cajuste- he may not have said it publicly, but i am pretty sure he would be wanting a lot more from him other than a flashy turn and losing possession for the umpteenth time.

I dont think its as simple as that.

Being brilliant for the best part of two concecutive seasons and not continuing to be so, has absolutely fried some people's minds and they cant cope.

Which is daft really, because in the last 40 years, weve never been brilliant for more than 2 consecutive seasons.

Coupled with everything in the world being a "bit sh!t", we have the perfect storm.

we've spent more in 2 years than we did in those 40 years, probably has more to do with it

This is my favourite Venn diagram and it came in useful last night for the match and some of the comments on here afterwards.

Happy to delete if admin feel it’s inappropriate for this family site.

Seemed like it to me, you get to know the people who sit around you at these games and the ones venting the most last night were people who haven't been coming regularly for that long, even if their age range is quite wide

Those of us with longer than 3 season memories remember what those post Premiership relegation seasons were like, remember the amount of times teams have made us look like idiots.

Its like all the 'worst I've seen us play' comments. That's a prime indication of it, because ive seen us play far far worse than that. Remember the 5-1 Norwich game as an example, and we only scored that 1 because Bullard seemed to be the only Town player that game who gave a f...

But there you go you've got your take, ive got mine.

We spent a lot of money in the summer of 2001 and got worse.

If it was all about spending money then Chelsea would be the worlds best team..... not all transfers work, they are just more newsworthy when they cost £££££.
