Lots of similarities but I can’t imagine them ending up in the same position we were in. Definite similarities though:
- Owner with deep pockets but who doesn’t understand the workings of a football club
- Handed the decision making to someone out of their depth (although Knapper is a much better choice than Clegg was)
- P***ing money up the wall without any clear recruitment strategy, players losing value rather than gaining
- Alienating fans through decisions being made at board level without any real concept or concern for how it would impact fans
The main difference is the position they were in when he took over compared to where we were when Evans took over. They’re not long out of parachute payments and still have some saleable assets (although those are reducing each window). Their training facilities etc. are already at premier league-ish standard and so need minimal investment.

Knapper and Clegg aren't really comparable roles. Clegg's equivalent would be Zoe Webber who they also don't seem to like TBF. Clegg was not responsible for choosing players to sign. The dross we signed under Evans was because of the managers. For them, it's Knapper. |  | | |

Agree. As much as they may be respected for 'listening' to the fans, I find it interesting that they didn't have enough confidence to really sell the idea and believe in it for the good of the club. |  |

Looking at the summary of their owner's interview on BBC Radio Norfolk, it was basically "I delegate these decisions" and "maybe we shouldn't have sold Nunez" with not a lot of substance.
