The only pub within walking distance that has welcomed Towen fans in the past has been the Wetherspoons on Shepherds Bush green. There are some reasonable drinking holes in the area but they have doormen and are home fans only. So you might be as well to opt for a pub near Liverpool St or anywhere along the central line. White city is the nearest tube. Hammersmith is another reasonable option.

Shepherd's Bush Market tube station on the Hammersmith & City line (formerly called Shepherd's Bush, the same as the Central Line station) is just as near & was always my preferred station as I was trying to get to King's Cross/St Pancras, not Liverpool Street, but unfortunately at the end of a QPR game, the Town fans were usually corralled off to White City (or Wood Lane), which I found immensely frustrating.

Thanks - shame there's no designated pub though. I live in South London so was hoping for somewhere we could unite beforehand. QPR will be fun, but the advantage of a provincial away day is that everyone comes together!

Not been allowed in the Wetherspoons on the last couple of visits unfortunately. As ever with London games any pub in central London will have town representation in I imagine, especially Hamilton Hall and the far better Crosse Keys. Alight the tube at Notting Hill Gate for some pubs around there, Churchill Arms always worth a visit.

I invariably avoid the "designated away pub" like the plague, partly because they're usually awful but also because I want a couple of pints of decent beer & a chat about the game etc rather than being deafened by shouts of "BLUE ARMY" & mindless beer-throwing. Might be different if you are going to an away game on your own, I suppose.

There are loads of pubs within walking distance if you're willing to walk 1-2miles. And plenty significantly better than anything designated, or around Shepherds Bush. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Yep, if you know where to look, there’s several pubs to be had.
