Teams have to be built to a points limit, a bit like fantasy football.
There’s big rumours that the league format will be radically changed this year as there’s only four or five confirmed teams in the Elite League for next season. | |

I rarely think about the speedway these days and it's an interesting thing in a way.
I was never a speedway fan as a kid but following Town meant that for a long time I bought the EADT every day, and ended up reading about the speedway and then getting to a few meets.
These days, well haven't bought a physical newspaper in years and as a result the speedway drifted away from my conciousness.
I do remember them riding around the pitch as a kid, no idea what year that would have been, early 80's? |  |

I have found myself buying random copies of the Speedway Star. Sadly no pinup pictures of Shrimp Davey or Mick Lanham. |  | | |
