25/26 Leicester City Away Match Sales 'Profile' 14:08 - Nov 14 with 1298 viewstommcd

The Leicester fixture initially sold out in the 10+ Window (Thursday pm), seats retained for the ballot were released for purchase in the following 5+ window (Friday am), the fixture sold out immediately again and appears likely to remain so.

Summary:

The Club announced an allocation of 3292 tickets had been provided, the seatmap count matched that.

- The Club retained a total of 193 seats for Club allocation and steward use (ballot seats are not included in this 'retention' as they were released back into window-based sales at 5+).

- There were 30 wheelchair / assistant seats.

- A total of 3069 tickets were made available for purchase for across Member Sales.

Release of blocks was staggered: Part of block M1, alongside the whole of Block M2 and M3 were initially released. Blocks M4 and the remainder of M1 were added at 15+.

Per Window Sales:

- 1124 (36.62% of available seats) seats sold in the 35+ window.

- 358 (11.67%) seats sold in the 30+ window

- 401 (13.07%) seats sold in the 25+ window

- 196 (6.39%) seats sold in the 20+ window

- 314 (10.23%) seats sold in the 15+ window

- 603 (19.65%) seats sold in the 10+ window

- 73 (2.38%) seats sold in the 5+ window (caveat: see 'points of note')

Points of Note:

* Very strong sales across all Windows, particularly evident across the 25+, 15+ and 10+ Windows (where the "don't go to every match" members reside), clearly a 3pm Saturday fixture that's fairly simple to get to is popular (who'd have thought!).

* Tickets sold in the 5+ window were mainly seats previously retained for the ballot, but released for 5+ sale. For all intents and purposes this fixture should be categorised as a sell-out @ 10+.

5 more APP-earning matches between now and Wrexham... I suspect we'll have 40+ Window for that, maybe even a 45+ (46 APPs will be the theoretical max going into that sale).

Find it quite interesting that 7 of 11 games have gone to general sale, with an 8th being available at 5+, but the other 3 needing to be in the top 2 tiers to have a chance (QPR & Oxford at 30+ and Brum 25+ when that bracket was what 30+ is now)

Various away games have always been more popular than others, I guess this is the modern-day representation of it.

Oxford and QPR sold quickly as they are relatively close and the allocation was relatively small.
Brum sold quickly as it was the first game of the season.

Sorry yes well aware of that, just surprised still at how all or nothing it is for anyone with a lower number of points as would have expected there to be more games which had worked through some of the bands and sold out somewhere in the middle

Great bit of analysis. Really striking to see that clear pattern of people moving up through the different points thresholds. Am curious to see how the trends shift as we go into December and the festive period with lots of Midweek games and congestion. Hoping my 11 points will be enough for Coventry because it's a Monday and not a bank holiday.

I'm wondering if the club will keep introducing windows or if they'll decide 35 or 40 is a high enough bar. Did they keep introducing bigger and bigger ones last year all the way until the end?
