Split loyalties tonight. Started half-watching to see if Hirst got on, plus I have Danish friends. Then got drawn in by the drama.
As for hating England, lots of people do, for more or less good or ancient reasons. The price we pay for being Top Nation for so long. But when it comes to the Scots and sport, that's not much different to us temporaily supporting whoever plays Norwich, it's wanting to see a rival lose, not a mortal loathing. |  |
