What else could they have done? There's no time anymore. Gone are the tours with 4/5 warm up games. All the Aussies are playing Sheffield Shield, half the England team were in NZ (not helped by 2 wash outs).

I woke up to a totally expected TMS montage of England wickets falling.
Archer and Carse making it a far from easy start but it this is a whipping, the (lack of) preparation has got to be questioned. |

Other thing, is say they do play a handful of warm up games. Do you risk wood and Archer? If they get injured then all anyone would be saying is why did they play. | |

Stuck in a bloody eddy, me.
Watching one delayed stream, knowing that England have already taken another wicket (via another stream), so I stick with the first one until I see that wicket fall, then intend to hop to the more up to date stream. But when I get there, another wicket has gone, so I have to go back to the slow one until that wicket has fallen.
