Those who know me.. im not remotely optimistic usually.
But, I just get sick of the constant negativity from the same old bunch.
We all know its been far from perfect, but most of us can look at the bigger picture.

That first half was turgid stuff for sure, but we are getting results, players who are still finding their feet are getting very valuable game time and we're going up the league.
The football is not as pretty as it was 2 years ago; but we have a much, much stronger base to build on.
I'm really happy for people to wet themselves and get angry at the end of the season, but there are far too many nay-sayers calling this far too early.
Kieran is no muppet at all. It really isn't easy having the sort of season we had last season and then perform again with a completely new team, irrespective of parachute payments. Look at those who went down with us... which team is performing best? | |

I'm not sure that anyone could disagree that the first half was crap. Even McKenna implies it in his post match comments.
I think we all need to not be so precious that we can't accept some in match thoughts on the quality of the game, especially when the issues are that clear. It's really not the end of the world to make observations on a game that is unfolding in front of us, the issue is extrapolating 45 minutes of football into an an assessment on the whole season/McKenna in general. |  |
