Great result tonight after a poor first half from both teams. We showed way more intent and bit more quality seconds half.
To me I do think we have to go again hard for Hackney (though you can imagine Wolves will be in for him - but would you go there knowing you are getting relegated?!). If not Hackney then another very mobile and energetic midfielder.
Cajuste isn't doing enough and maybe doesn't compliment Azor in that role.
We possibly have to to try again for a top striker but will be really hard as we know to get someone. |  |

Whoever we are after, they have to be premiership ready so I'm not sure we'll get anyone unless it's a loan (maybe with a buy option). There's going to be another lot of player churn if we get promoted. Are we at our loan limit? I've lost track.

He been worse that average, he looked one of 3 players who could hold their own in the prem last season. He has played in serie Aand top French division, Swedish International went to euro 2020 has cost £22m in two moves.
This guy shouldn’t be a championship player, yet he doesn’t track people, tackle or even run quite often, we look a different side when Taylor is on which, no disrespect to Taylor should not be happening.

Agreed. Cajuste hasn't been abysmal. He's just been really disappointing for the calibre of player he is. We need him to be much more dominant.
You can plainly see he missed a pre-season. He just doesn't look fit to me to the levels required. I'm not sure how we fix that and the injury won't now help at all. |
He's abysmal if he's considered such an amazing talent on - I would imagine - a very high wage. Truth is ... he's very average, but has a nice trick or two. And his engine is terrible and offers no physicality. Please don't mention the lack of a pre-season ... its nearly December. This lack of a pre-season is an over-used industry excuse And we've not been asking a lot from him... 60 mins here, 20 mins here. Enough to get and keep him fit, and nowhere near the point where we're hammering him.
I don't know a player who's been so over-hyped as him. He looks like a player at the tail end of his career - not a 26 year old - who shows glimpses of class, but is on a downward spiral.
Many hark back to last season where he was considered one of our best players, but we had a horrible season and we looked at anything to offer us some joy... and he offered us some nice tricks, whilst not really contributing to the dirty work that was needed.
A move to Saudi would seem the best move for him, but we got lumbered with him.

Just because there are no injuries in January doesn't mean they won't happen later. We are a Matusiwa injury away from being in a right pickle. We defend need another addition to the CM department as Cajuste has been disappointing.
I'll reserve judgement on whether we need another striker depending on how Akpom fairs there over the next few weeks | |
