Very sore mate. Gale force winds and pain meant I got zero sleep last night so feel like utter crap. I’ll watch tonight’s game on Sky but I’ve got tickets for Tuesday’s game against Blackburn in the safe seating area at the front row. If I’m not up to it in the morning I’ll give my ticket to one of my boy’s mates or his girlfriend. He’s driving as I’m not allowed to drive for two to three weeks.

Yeah it should have been 30 to 45 minutes but in the end I was in surgery for 2 hours. Managed to get out last night and having a few days in bed. | |

I had a hernia done many years ago, was able to get up and walk that evening! Done under local anasthetic only, so no extra recovery from that.The next day was a lot more painful, tho. Then it quickly got better to the point I could go out for walks (of 2 or 3 miles, slowly) only a few days later. |  |
