Anyone demanding a manager change right now is wasting their breath as it simply won't happen just yet, but I feel we need to hit December hard and put ourselves in a much stronger position than we are right now. If we end the year still bobbing outside the playoffs, on about 1.5 points per game, and still struggling to score consistently game to game, then I suspect Ashton and the owners will be having some serious conversations. I'm honestly glad that we continue to give managers time, and allow them to try and fix things, but there will come a point that change is unavoidable. The concerning thing in the last few games hasn't just been the result, but the horribly disjointed performances, and that needs to improve very quickly as we (the supporters) will always be more forgiving of a poor result if you see the team playing good football and creating chances. We are very much not doing that right now!

Currently, we have the feeling of a team that's hanging onto its coat tails, hoping for something to click rather than *knowing* it's coming together. It's like a McCarthy team being 7th/8th - not consistent enough and too patchy. Is that acceptable given the huge financial disparity?

There's a post calling for McKenna's head with 19 upvotes, just one example. And then we've had people rewriting history and suggesting the promotions were flukey or despite McKenna etc. Absolute nonsense. To my mind we've had a few iffy performances in this blink-and-you-miss-it batch of games, travelling all over the country. But only a few games ago we were winning handsomely at Swansea and QPR before that. I wouldn't be surprised if we win the next two home games and the TWTDometer swings to positive again. We're in a bit of adversity right now and some seem sh!t-scared of it.
