I don’t know. He’s right about Illy being a helmet.

. Sorry Illy, not really of course but I can’t resist a tap in (unlike our players!)

I’ll forgive. Just remember, tap-ins and penalties don’t count.

I always put my ticket up for resale when I cant get there. Next weeks visit of Stoke is the first time it has not resold.

But if tickets are not going for Cov remember that Christmas is only two weeks away and many family oriented people have other priorities.

I dissagree that people will be put off because of the strength of the opposition. It is going to be the best atmosphere since we thrashed the Budgies.

Cov was a great atmosphere.
Stoke ticket sold in the end.
6 points so far this week.
I have nothing to complain about.

This is why I often avoid this place when the team isn't on form. Everyone has a new negative angle to find on anything to do with the team/club.

Just an observation that the poster who started this thread hasn't popped up on here since before the Coventry game, when there was a platform for negativity.

Funny that.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Couldn’t do the Coventry game and my seat resold quickly. I did see Stoke and the crowd was 27000, nearly of the 2000 gaps in the area around the away supporters. Stoke, I believe, brought about 1000. Not bad for a miserable journey on a Wednesday night.

Nothing wrong with the attendances and the atmosphere on Weds was fine. What a greater capacity and new stand brings is:

For beginners, more opportunity for casual supporters to see games, tickets for schools etc, leg room (I’m 5ft 9ins and my knees were jammed against the seat in front) last time I sat in the East Stand, better facilities and room for non football stuff to make better use of the ground. It’s not rocket science.

Nothing to complain about.

No it’s about replicating the horror show theyve got at Bristol City

What horror show? They share their stadium with a Premiership rugby club and also have big concerts there. And City get bigger average crowds than the old Ashton Gate could hold.

It will happen but only when we establish ourselves in the Premier League. To do that we need a team capable of beating the likes of West Ham, Everton, Palace, Brighton etc.
I don't feel we have that yet. As a squad we are probably half a dozen players short of being good enough to stay in that league.
