Not sure how much of this is true, but if so I wonder if this might be part of the plans for the stadium development? Very Exciting if it is.

I've heard the Cobbold will be redeveloped bringing total capacity to 40k starting with building over the stand to avoid demolishing.

My first thoughts were as part of the Cobbald stand - separate venue under the same roof - on the carpark.

I think he will live somewhere a bit more exclusive than in one of the stands!

Do you mean in the Wendy house above where the teams come out?

When it was just a bungalow on stilts he didn't want to put an offer in, but now they've made it two storeys he's suddenly keen, eh?

Nice lawn, but.

Think it is happening, but they are re-routing Portman Road so that it bends in a bit of a semi-circle to allow stadium growth.

wont happen because theres no money to pay for it, and the Cobbold isnt going to be the stand they redevelop first, even allowing for the fact theres no certainty the club are in a financial position to do any major stand redevelopments or that the support holds up to require extra capacity.

as for the Ed Sheeren thing, its just a throwaway comment that he'd like to spend more time living at home, he's not about to build some new music venue just to satisfy that aspect of his life.

Build a melkweg style event space on the practise pitch and use it for matchdays, conferences, gigs etc. It’s a great location an hour or so from London on the train. Could bring a massive amount of money into the town which is desperately needed but may well be a pipe dream

Why not? He's worth hundreds of millions. Could easily spend a small fraction of that to carry on doing what he loves while staying at home with his family.

If you don't use your money to to bring you happiness then what is the point of it?

Truly impaired.
