The look pretty lively and broke our press early on, we have gradually adapted

Yep. They were looking dangerous, but couldn’t build on it as we grew into the game a bit more even though they had more possession.

They look like they have the basis to be dangerous but flatter to decieve based on that

They don't have the the decision making or composure when they do get into tjose good positions

We snuffed their strikers out all evening

Complete opposite to what I think I've watched - I haven't been worried since their early chance Walton saved. We look comfortable dealing with them.
I can't remember them challenging our goal since.

Same - did't think much of them to be honest- they'll slip away quite quickly

I thought they responded well to going behind, but after 15 minutes or so the game settled down and they carried very little threat, helped by the fact that their final ball was dreadful

Yep. As usual I am most nervous when the team with possession near our box is us! (Before anyone jumps in and says, we'll that's how we open teams up, yes I know, doesn't stop it looking awkward though).

Lo and behold, their best (only? They had a cross they missed a kick at but it looked offside to me) chance came from a dodgy pass from Matusiwa at the back (not a dig at him, thought he had a good game). They really created sod all second half and we looked very solid.

You appear to have forgotten Charlton. They seemed to threaten our goal whenever we gave them the ball.

I thought they played through us pretty well until they got towards the final third and then didn't seem like they could do anything with it e.g. lots of balls slipped through the defensive line that were the right idea but over hit

Hard to argue with that, definitely more dangerous down the wings than anyone else we have seen at Portman Road

I can't believe Manhoef is on the bench

"I can't believe Manhoef is on the bench"
After he missed the best chance of the night when they finally provided a decent cross from their approach play I'm not so sure

Couple of moments right after our goal.

Looked tidy all night, but looked to me like the lack a real cutting edge in the final third.

first half they were bold and broke our press nicely
absolutely useless though anywhere near our box

Stoke reminded me of us at our worst when we cant break a side down, lots of passing, lots of possession but minimal final threat. Difference being we have quality (ie Jaden last night) that can make the difference, felt that Stoke didnt have that last night - the only time I felt nervous was that last 90 seconds cos, you know, Ipswich, but apart from that calm.
