What about a bid for Josh Sargeant. Nunez has settled very well no reason why he couldn't. He is the only player keeping Naaridge a float with a chance of avoiding the drop.

He'd suit us better than a lot of others players I can think of

I can't see them going for Nunez 2.0 though, who else is there out there, do we need to be looking abroad?

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Personally, think they’ll survive if they perform anywhere near the level of their team which isn’t great, but not bottom 3.

I don't think Sargent is that much better than Hirst and the Budgies would want between £25 and £30 million and he's not worth that.
I think we need someone a bit more mobile up front someone of the David Johnson (Jonty) Marcus Stewart type.

I’m not saying you’re wrong in what they want, but they are never getting that.

Sargent has more about his game than Hirst IMO and would suit us to a T , very strong , fast , clever and has a shot on him like our Ted Philips ……..buy buy buy .

I would. Then stick him in the reserves, just to p1ss off their fans in the biggest way possible.

Nah, he's crap.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Or loan him out to another relegation threatened team.

Actually, I think he’s a good player and I’d sign him up if we had the money and they were prepared to sell to us for a realistic price. He is injury prone and looks like Sideshow Bob so £1.5m?

Seriously, we need to look elsewhere. I can easily see him going to a dross Premier League side for £20m plus.

Dunno why people keep suggesting this. Nodge may well sell Sargent in Jan but there’s not a cat in hells chance that they will sell him to us. Their fans would go into meltdown.

There must be a better option out there like an U21 player on loan from a PL team or a Scandinavian in the mould of Kjerrumgaard at Watford who looks like just what we need.
