| The Last Kingdom 18:29 - Dec 17 with 580 views | MattinLondon | Appreciate the fact that ‘The Last Kingdom’ finished last year but I only found it last month - what a show. Really liked it and if you’re a fan of historical sword stuff, you’ll probably like it as well. Is anyone on here a fan of Bernard Cornwell‘s novels? If so, which ones would you recommend to get stuck into first? Never read if of his so don’t know too much about his back catalogue. I’m now off to start watching a brand new show called ‘Stranger Things’ by all accounts it is rather good. | | | | |

In fairness, it's really hard to match on telly what you can do in your imagination.

Have you watched the Last Kingdom movie, Seven Kings Must Die, which ties up a few loose ends? Stranger things is great. The first couple of episodes you would be forgiven for thinking you were watching a kids show. But stick with it. Well worth it.

Haven’t watched the film yet but will do when I have time - actually probably before I get started on Stranger Things. As I said really liked The Last Kingdom - really surprised that there was a fair bit of humour thrown in at times. But have to confess that I got confused about who is who in terms of the Saxon/Viking names.
