I managed to get back to Kent after the match to see it with Mrs C and I’m glad I did. A bit of brightness, colour, glitz on a winters night after a win at home? All good.
Karen Carney was extraordinary and a worthy winner - not that I know anything about it.

Don't watch it myself. The standard is just appalling. A men's Sunday League dance team would wipe the floor with that lot. Makes my blood boil that they waste taxpayers' money putting it on.
For years I avoided Strictly but I really enjoy the dancing now and watch it every week. The hard work and athleticism needed is incredible. You just have the accept all the froth around it.

As a family we love Strictly. A spoiler alert wouldn't have gone amiss. We were out last night so had to wait to today to watch it. We'd avoided any mention of the result until I popped in here to catch up on post match chat. I spent the morning pretending I didn't the result. It was a great final.
Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.

If you'd manage to swerve the announcements of it on every mainstream & sm outlet every 30 minutes since 9pm yesterday you must be living on the moon.
Not having a go but on a Saturday night at Christmas time i'm sure there are plenty who recorded it and are trying to avoid the result. Why risk it when it would take 10 seconds to edit?
