I wonder why KM is so hesitant to play Philogene on the right?
Yes he's arguably our best player, yes it's important that he forms a partnership with Leif but our right hand side is glaringly short.
Why not start Philo on the right where he has played in the PL & the CL in situations like today or when Clarke was forced to start out there the other week?

Sure but his deputy is one of our best players.
I guess the question is better phrased as would the sum of Clarke L, Philo R be better for the team than Philo L, Mcateer R.
McAteer isn't our regular starter on the right. Walle Egeli has been our main starter there. I'd rather Philogene/Clarke rotating on the left and Walle Egeli/McAteer rotating on the right than trying to shoehorn Philogene and Clarke into the side and leaving us with no real cover on the left.
What's weird is that we (and I think other teams) are not fluid with our front three as much as I'm sure it was in general football in the past - if we play Clarke and Philogene why can't they switch sides mid-game?
We've spent £30m on right wingers and also have Burns coming back. If we have to play our top scorer out of position the problems are worse than I had thought.
