I only realised it was a working day in the last week … I feel embarrassed to admit I’ve missed all the conversation I’m guessing …. But how did this happen ?

If anyone can't make the game I would love to go, no work for me tomorrow.

Because they want to fit in two games tomorrow on the main channel - Birmingham v Southampton kicks off at 8:15.

Sky won't care. It's all about viewers and money to them.

Because Sky don’t give a fk about fans who attend the game.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

I guess the club have no say in it ? presumably they’ll make more money from TV than crowds these days… I think long gone are the days when gate receipts made up the main financial income.

I am surprised when it's not a bank holiday but many are off between Christmas and New Year. Away fans always have to fit midweek matches in with work anyway.

Though, in fairness, they normally have another hour and three quarters to get to the ground. I'm guessing the early kick off will affect Coventry fans more than ours.

Exactly that… Sky couldn’t care less about the match-going fans.

Although it’s less of an inconvenience to us than it is Cov fans… we’d have to take an afternoon off to get there anyway (or swap a shift / have an understanding boss), whereas as they have got to go out of their way to attend a home game.
