yep - usually like to analyse the performance but on new years day in a game against a team that beat us a few weeks ago the only thing that mattered was 3 points and that was achieved with perfection !

Before the Millwall game I was fairly happy with still being 5 points behind Middlesbrough on New Year’s Day as it meant we’d got through a sticky patch of fixtures without losing ground. To be ahead of them quite ridiculous really. Obviously still Portsmouth to go but a really strong showing from our squad to have such a positive Christmas period with the injuries, illnesses and rotation that come with it.
